In the morning at the Hobart Regatta Grounds, the Governor of Tasmania, the Honourable Barbara Baker, accompanied by Emeritus Professor Don Chalmers, delivered an address to officially open the 2024 Royal Hobart Show.
In the evening, the Governor and Professor Chalmers hosted a reception to mark 26Ten Week 2024.
In the afternoon, the Governor received the Premier of Tasmania, the Honourable Jeremy Rockliff. Later, the Governor appointed and swore Cabinet Ministers to office.
In the morning at Government House, the Governor of Tasmania, the Honourable Barbara Baker, and Emeritus Professor Don Chalmers hosted a visit by Year 6 students from Southern Christian College.
In the evening at Government House, the Governor of Tasmania, the Honourable Barbara Baker, and Emeritus Professor Don Chalmers hosted a reception to mark Occupational Therapy Week and the 80th anniversary of Occupational Therapy Australia.
In the afternoon at Parliament House, Canberra, the Governor and Emeritus Professor Don Chalmers attended a Parliamentary Reception in the presence of His Majesty King Charles III and Her Majesty Queen Camilla hosted by the Honourable Anthony Albanese, Prime Minister of Australia, and Ms Jodie Haydon.
In the morning at Government House, the Governor of Tasmania, the Honourable Barbara Baker, was represented by her Official Secretary, Colonel David Hughes, at a morning tea to mark the launch of SEED Futures.
In the evening at the Hyatt Hotel, Canberra, the Governor of Tasmania, the Honourable Barbara Baker, and Emeritus Professor Don Chalmers attended a reception for Vice-Regal representatives hosted by the Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, the Honourable Ms Sam Mostyn, and her Official Secretary, Mr Gerard Martin.
In the morning at the Flinders Island Showground, Whitemark, the Governor of Tasmania, the Honourable Barbara Baker, accompanied by Emeritus Professor Don Chalmers, attended and delivered an address to officially open the 2024 Flinders Island Show.
Her Excellency and Professor Chalmers were hosted on an official visit to the municipality of Flinders by the Mayor of Flinders, Councillor Rachel Summers.

In the morning at Government House, the Governor of Tasmania, the Honourable Barbara Baker, appointed and swore to office the Honourable Jeremy Rockliff as Treasurer; and Minister for Small Business and Consumer Affairs; and the Honourable Guy Barnett as Deputy Premier of Tasmania.
