Bowling Green/Croquet Lawn
Originally constructed as a croquet lawn under Sir Ronald Cross in 1955, it was converted to a bowling green during Sir Charles Gairdner’s term in 1965.
Today the green is maintained by a professional greenkeeper and can be hired out for croquet and bowls during daylight saving months.
Player Etiquette
Please take all your rubbish with you and leave the lawn and facilities tidy for the next players to use and enjoy.
Residential cottages and houses within the grounds are occupied, and players are therefore requested to keep noise to a reasonable level.
Smoking is not permitted within the venue.
Equipment Hire
Limited equipment hire is available for both bowls and croquet, on request at time of booking.
