In the afternoon, the Ambassador of Belgium, His Excellency Mr Michel Goffin, and Mrs Meagen Baldwin arrived at Government House to stay.

In the evening, the Governor and Emeritus Professor Don Chalmers hosted a formal dinner in honour of the official visit to Tasmania by the Ambassador of Belgium and Mrs Baldwin.
