In the evening, the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany, Her Excellency Ms Beate Grzeski, arrived at Government House to stay.

Later, the Governor and Professor Chalmers hosted a formal dinner in honour of the official visit to Tasmania by the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany.
