Later at Princes Wharf, the Governor and Professor Chalmers undertook a tour of the new Tasmania Police patrol vessel, PV Van Diemen.

In the afternoon at the Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery, the Governor and Professor Chalmers viewed the exhibition, Rex Greeno:  Memories through Sea Stories.
