In the  morning the Governor of Tasmania, the Honourable Barbara Baker, and Emeritus Professor Don Chalmers commenced an official visit to the municipality of Glamorgan Spring Bay which included visits to Swansea Primary School, Swansea PCYC, May Shaw Health Centre, Tasmanian Seafarers’ Memorial, Triabunna Community Health Centre, and Spring Bay Mill at which a Civic Reception was hosted by the Glamorgan Spring Bay Council.
