In the morning at Government House, the Governor of Tasmania, the Honourable Barbara Baker, and Emeritus Professor Don Chalmers hosted visits by the Year 5 students from Howrah Primary School.

In the evening at Anglesea Barracks Officers’ Mess, the Governor and Professor Chalmers attended a reception hosted by No 29 (City of Hobart) Squadron to mark the 105th anniversary of the Royal Australian Air Force.
