In the evening at Government House, the Governor of Tasmania, the Honourable Barbara Baker, and Emeritus Professor Don Chalmers hosted a reception to mark the 187th Royal Hobart Regatta and 2025 Australian Wooden Boat Festival.

In the afternoon at the Supreme Court, the Governor and Professor Chalmers attended a ceremonial sitting on the occasion of the Honourable Kate Cuthbertson taking her seat as a judge of the Supreme Court of Tasmania.
