In the morning at Government House, the Governor of Tasmania, Professor the Honourable Kate Warner, presided at a Special Meeting of the Executive Council.

Later, the High Commissioner for the United Kingdom, Her Excellency Mrs Vicki Treadell, departed Government House.

In the evening, the Governor and Mr Warner hosted a reception to launch the Family Violence Migration Legal Clinic on behalf of the Tasmanian Refugee Legal Service.
