In the afternoon at Government House, the Governor and Emeritus Professor Don Chalmers hosted an afternoon tea for the Parliament of Tasmania together with a visiting delegation of Members of the Parliament of Samoa.

In the morning at the Executive Building, the Governor of Tasmania, the Honourable Barbara Baker, presided at a meeting of the Executive Council.
