In the evening, the Governor and Professor Chalmers hosted a reception for members of the Multicultural Council of Tasmania to mark Harmony Week 2025.

In the afternoon, the Governor and Emeritus Professor Don Chalmers received Dr Julie Rimes, President, and Distinguished Professor Ross Large, Councillor, of the Royal Society of Tasmania.
